Homer was lesbian

Hello world, this is Angry Tofu speaking. Today I want to talk about a theory that was brought to my attention by a friend of mine who I will refer to as "Unicorn woman". This theory is entirely of her own invention, and although it sounds downright crazy at first it actually makes a lot of sense!
Her theory is that Homer, author of "The Odyssey", was actually a lesbian woman. In case you don't know what I am talking about, "The Odyssey" is a book that is thought to have been written in The eighth century B.C. By a man named Homer. However, there are many theories as to who the actual author of this classic piece of literature is. Unicorn woman's belief that Homer was a lesbian woman stems from a study of "The Odyssey" that we are currently doing. See, this book is chock-full of monsters, most of whom are women. The other thing it is full of is hot chicks. Seriously, there's Aphrodite, goddess of love, Helen of Troy, the most beautiful woman in the world, and Calypso, a nymph with control issues. So, the evil monster-women represent lesbian Homer's fear of her repressed love for women, and the hot chicks are her dream women.
Sounds plausible, doesn't it? Comment below on what you think :)
